General FAQs

What is a French macaron?

A French macaron is a sweet meringue-based cookie made with egg whites, sugar, almond flour, and is filled with either a light buttercream, fruit puree, Curds, or various ganache.

Why are they pre-packaged?

It is a GA Department of Agriculture regulation that since these are intricately made in our Kitchen which is not on site that from the time they leave our bakery to come to our convenient locations, they must be prepackaged. We can not open or alter the packages at all. For this reason in order to compensate for this rule we have made various selections so that there is something for everyones taste.

Can I pick my flavors?

For special orders you may call us and select your flavors for any order starting from our smallest box 4.5 oz. of macarons or bigger. We apologize but we can not accommodate special orders for our bags unless its for party favors and for several bags.

What is the size of your macarons?

Our macarons are approximately 2 inches in diameter.

How long will your macarons stay fresh?

Outside of the refrigerator . . . Our macarons stay fresh for up to 12 hours.
In the refrigerator . . . Our macarons stay fresh for up to one week.
In the freezer . . . Our macarons stay fresh for up to 6 months (provided they are kept in a closed container and not exposed to humidity).

Ingredients & Nutrition

What are the ingredients in each macaron?

Ingredients: In the macaron shell: almond flour, sugar, egg white.
In filling: butter, sugar, fresh fruits, lemon, raspberry, strawberry, blueberry, fruit puree, heavy cream, cocoa, Pistachio, almonds, hazelnuts, coconut, coffee, vanilla natural, Natural lavender emulsion, natural rosewater natural lychee flavor, Natural crème brulee flavor, nutella, natural cappuccino flavor, natural orange blossom, peanut butter, honey, matcha green tea, salt, pumpkin mix, cinnamon, chestnut, food coloring FD & C.

What are the calories in each macaron?

Our chef has a special recipe with less sugar and fat than the original already naturally light composition of a macaron. Calories vary from 45-75 per macaron depending on flavor.

Why are the calories or nutritional information not listed?

Since we are prepackaging and want to offer a variety of mixed packages, we can not offer a calorie count. However we are transitioning from Cart to Kiosk. When we make this transition we will be able to sell the macarons individually and list calories per macaron.

Are your macarons Gluten Free?

Yes, all of our macarons are gluten free!

Do your macarons have trans fats?

No! Our macarons are trans fat free!

Do your macarons contain nuts?

Yes, as macaron shells are made of almond flour not wheat or soy. Depending on the flavor there may be additional nuts such as pistachios, hazelnuts, praline etc.

Where do you source your ingredients?

We are proud to say that or dairy ingredients are sourced from American purveyors, local farms, chocolates and various flavors are from Belgium and France!

Are your macarons Kosher?

Not at this time.

Ordering Macarons

What is the best way to order macarons for delivery / pick-up / shipping?

Our boutiques do not take orders over the phone. Please visit our boutique to place your order. For faster service calling us at 908-867-8336 is best. If we are busy making macarons leave a message and we will call you after our baking hours.

Do you deliver?

We deliver with in 5 mile radius of our locations. We deliver large or wholesale orders. Delivery fee is charged.

How much does it cost to deliver in Atlanta area?

Delivery with in 5 miles of our locations is between $10-$15

When do you do deliveries?

We deliver in Atlanta M-F; morning deliveries are from 12 to 1pm

Do you deliver in Atlanta on the weekends?

It can be arranged, but depends on demand. It’s best to call. Advance notice is always appreciated.

When do I need to place an order for next day pickup?

All orders of in stock inventory must be confirmed by speaking to a representative by 10 am the day proceeding expected pick up. If you request a flavor that is not in stock or want to place a custom order one weeks notice is requested.

What if I need macarons delivered on the same day?

If you place your order online or give us a call and we get to your order in time sometimes this can be arranged for afternoon delivery after 5:00. But we can’t guarantee that we will receive your request in time. So it’s always best to think ahead and plan a couple days in advance.

Why are some macaron boxes only available in stores for pick up and delivery but not for shipping?

Some of our boxes are not strong enough for delivery. For this reason we have created special mailer packages that protect the macarons during shipping.

When do I pay for my order?

Orders are all paid for in advance and non refundable.

Shipping Macarons

Where do you ship macarons?

We ship our macarons nationwide in the US during the months of September to April.

How does shipping work?

Please order online and enter the date you want the macarons to be delivered. We use UPS/FedEx for all our shipping. We use ground service (1 or 2 days) for states in the North East, and 2nd day air for all the other states. We can only ship macarons 2 Day Air as the macarons need to be fresh. Every box we ship, whether ground or 2 Day Air, includes a cool pack and a thermal envelop to ensure freshness.

How should I store the macarons once I receive them?

We advise that you put the macarons in the refrigerator immediately upon delivery. Then serve at room temperature.

I received a box of macarons while I was not home – can I still eat them?

You are the best judge, it depends on how they look and how they were kept. If they were outside in winter weather they should be fine. However, if they were placed out side and the cool pack is still cool. You should be find. If the package was taken back to the EedEx or ups office and then you have received it after 2 days from delivery please do not attempt it. Please save your box and your tracking info. We purchase insurance for all our shipments. You can call us and together we can file a claim so that we can send you another shipment. But please keep the original packaging as it is needed to claim insurance.

My package arrived damaged. What do I do?

Good news, we insure all our shipments! But in order to help you file a claim your must keep the original packaging and take pictures of not only the product but the box as well. With out the box we can not offer to replace the damaged goods and the shipping carrier will deny any claim.
